Job Purpose: As a Cleaner at Adcock Ingram, you will play a crucial role in maintaining sanitary conditions in controlled areas where sterile pharmaceuticals are manufactured. Your responsibilities will include sanitation activities, adherence to company procedures and cGMP standards, and following all company SOPs, procedures, and policies to ensure aseptic and sanitary conditions are upheld.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Grade 12
  • 1-2 years of cleaning experience in the FMCG / Pharmaceutical Manufacturing environment
  • Experience in a Sterile/Microbiology environment is advantageous

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform sanitization/disinfection activities following established operating procedures.
  • Execute various preparation and cleaning tasks according to SOPs and cGMP regulations.
  • Maintain equipment and production areas to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct cleanroom sanitization/disinfection.
  • Collect and dispose of waste as per procedures.
  • Perform drain cleaning and sanitization.
  • Maintain accurate records and review applicable documentation.
  • Provide assistance to assigned departments.
  • Work safely and effectively, following company rules and regulations.
  • Complete relevant documentation/paperwork, adhering to GDP/GMP guidelines.
  • Identify areas for continuous improvement.
  • Comply with cGMPs, SOPs, and site safety procedures.
  • Perform any other tasks as assigned by management.
  • Communicate effectively.
