Program Overview:
- This fellowship program is under the patronage of the Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany and is financed by the Federal Foreign Office.
- It invites fellows to become active members of an international network characterized by exchange and collaboration that continues beyond the fellowship experience in Germany.

- Up to 60 German Chancellor Fellowships are granted annually to prospective leaders from the specified countries, regardless of their field of work.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must hold citizenship from Brazil, China, India, South Africa, or the USA.
- They should have initial leadership experience and work in fields such as politics, business, media, administration, society, or culture.
- Applicants must have completed their first academic degree (Bachelor or equivalent) no more than twelve years ago by 1 October 2024.
- Proficiency in English and/or German is required.
- Applicants need a mentoring agreement from a host in Germany and must develop and coordinate an independently designed project with their host.
Benefits of the Fellowship:
- A monthly fellowship grant of 2,000 euros, 2,300 euros, or 2,600 euros, depending on training and career level.
- An intensive language course before the start of the fellowship and funding for German language courses during the fellowship.
- Individual support during the stay in Germany.
- Additional financial support, including mobility, family support, travel expenses, private health insurance, or additional German language courses.
