Mining Qualifications Authority (MQA): Internship Programme 2023 for unemployed graduates

Closing Date: 06 March 2023 | Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng

The MQA would like to invite qualifying individuals to apply for an internship opportunity within its Skills Development and Research Unit. Unemployed individuals who have never participated in an internship programme are invited to apply.

This opportunity is only available for South African Citizens. The successful intern will be appointed for a period of twenty-four (24) months.

Responsibilities:

  • Workplace Skills Plans (WSPs) and Annual Training Reports (ATRs) submission process.
  • Skills Development Facilitator (SDF) and organisation registration process.
  • Conduct primary and secondary research.
  • Liaise with MQA stakeholders and resolve customer queries.
  • Report writing and presentations.
  • General administration.

Requirements:

National Diploma / Degree in:

  1. Social Sciences,
  2. Commerce
  3. Human Resources with Economics and/or Statistics
  4. or equivalent qualification
  • Computer skills: Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project will be an advantage.

  • Strong level of accuracy.

  • Good organisational and time management skills.

  • Demonstrate understanding of research process and ability to analyse different data sources using qualitative, quantitative, and mixed method approaches.
