In collaboration with its stakeholders, EThekwini Maritime Cluster (EMC) has embarked on an enterprise development programme with an intention to positively contribute towards development of skills and sound enterprise practices in the Maritime industry. This will be done by empowering unemployed graduates who are interested in being entrepreneurs through a structured training and mentoring programme. EMC has four programmes: Enterprise Development, Skills Development, Industry Promotion and Marine Manufacturing. The Incubation and Acceleration Programme fall under Enterprise Development, with an intention to facilitate training and mentoring of the unemployed graduates to become entrepreneurs in the maritime industry.

Applicants should be in possession of a National Diploma / Bachelors’ Degree from a recognised tertiary institution in the following fields:

  • Financial Management
  • Human Resource Management
  • Information Technology
  • Supply Chain Management
  • Operations Management
  • Engineering
  • Business Management
