Horticulture Learnership (30 Positions)
Applicants must have grade 12 and be able to do the following duties
- Health and safety in horticultural environment
- Identification of plants Cultivation and care for ornamental plants
- Condition and prepare soils for planting
- Soil science
- Use of fertilizers on plants
- Chemical and mechanical removal of weeds and alien invasive plants
- Mixing and application of herbicides and pesticides
- Laying and maintenance of grass sods
- Mowing lawns
- Pruning of plants
