  • A relevant tertiary qualification (3-year Diploma/Degree in a Management or Law field –NQF 6);
  • Basic Traffic Officer’s Diploma;
  • Registered as a Traffic Officer;
  • 3-5 years’ supervisory experience in a Traffic Law Enforcement field;
  • 7-10 years’ working experience in Traffic Law Enforcement field;
  • All valid relevant driving licences (A and EC);
  • Valid Peace Officer’s Certificate;
  • No criminal record. Knowledge, Skills, Training and
  • Extensive knowledge of Traffic Management policies and regulations.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislations and traffic management regulations.
  • Knowledge of vehicle inspections / impoundment.
  • Knowledge of driving skills.
  • Records and resource management skills.
