Limpopo Dept of Social Development is hiring and invites applications from South African for the following job vacancy: Child & Youth Care Worker (x3 posts).

- Sekhukhune District: Tubatse Child & Youth Care Centre (Ref No: DSD/2023/12) – 1 Post
About the Department of Social Development:

Requirements:
- Qualifications and Competencies: An appropriate recognized NQF level 4 (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification, as recognized by SAQA, and a basic qualification in Child Care. Current registration with the South African Council for Social Services Professions [SACSSP] is required.
- Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge and understanding of the legislative framework governing Child & Youth Care Centres, good communication and listening skills, good interpersonal relationships, ability to handle pressure, honesty, and confidentiality.
Duties and Responsibilities: The responsibilities for these positions include receiving and providing care and development to children and youth in care facilities, ensuring their medical needs are met, facilitating independent living, implementing development and therapy programs, and performing administration duties.
