About the Peace Officer Training 2024

The Peace Officer Training 2024 is organized by the Municipal Youth Desk section in partnership with the Department of Police Oversight and Community Safety. The training aims to equip selected youth with the necessary skills to serve as peace officers within the community. The course is accredited and runs for 30 days, after which participants will receive a twelve-month EPWP contract to put their training into practice.

Who Should Apply?

This opportunity is open to unemployed youth who meet the following criteria:

  • Age: 20-35 years old
  • Education: Must have completed Matric
  • Residency: Must be a resident of the Prince Albert area
  • Criminal Record: Must have a clear criminal record
  • Documents Required: ID book/card

To apply, candidates must complete the EPWP prescribed application form and submit it along with the following documents:

Selection Process
