Position: Independent Contractor (Face-to-Face Tutors)
Remuneration: R 389.35 per hour
College: College of Accounting Sciences (CAS)
Purpose: Facilitate learning through face-to-face and/or videoconferencing tutorials on Saturdays and/or weekday evenings in the subjects identified.
Qualification Requirements:
- Minimum of a Master’s degree in the subject you want to tutor or a PhD degree in Accounting Sciences.
- Registration with a Professional Body (e.g., SAICA, CIMA, CIA).
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Training for effective face-to-face/hybrid tutoring
- Preparation for face-to-face/hybrid tutoring
- Facilitation of face-to-face/hybrid learning
- Providing feedback to the teaching team
Competencies, Skills, and Attributes:
- Willingness to undergo training on various aspects of tutoring.
- Teaching/tutoring experience will be an advantage.
- Ability to work with diverse learners.
